GENERAL HYGIENE MEASURES (COVID-19)
Practise Good Personal Hygiene
Sanitiser is provided by the club for disinfection of mats and jacks only. Players must use the sanitiser before and after each game to cleanse all mats and jacks. Please dry the jack and mat with the disposable towel provided to protect against chemical damage to the green.
Mats & jacks – the player who collects the mats and jack should be responsible for all contact with the equipment before, during and after the game.
Remember that jacks or mats can be set at short, medium or long by the same player after each end rather than rolling the jack down the rink for position.
Social distancing must always be observed on and off the green.
- Players should bring their own hand sanitiser for use during play
- Players should not pick up other players bowls
- Do not share cloths, measures, chalk etc.
- Do not moisten your hands with saliva before delivery
- Do not shake hands, high-five or have any physical contact with other people on the green (out with your household)
Use of locker rooms are permitted in Level 3 and below so members can leave their bowls and shoes if we are in these levels otherwise they must not be used and all equipment must be taken home. Club benches can be used to change shoes but must be sanitised before and after use.
