OUR HISTORY

The Club was established in 1996 and moved to its present location in 2005 with the establishment of a new Clubhouse and full size Green.

Since then, the Club has flourished and remains true to its aim - to promote the sport of bowls within Dalgety Bay and to encourage new members of all ages to participate in the game.

Our Club has a well maintained Green and the Clubhouse is complemented by a fully stocked bar where members can relax before, during, and after matches and enjoy a regular calendar of social events throughout the year.  The venue is also available for hire for private functions to both members and non-members.

Dalgety Bay Bowling Club caters for all bowlers - from those who only wish to have a social game and keep active as a hobby, to those wishing to compete at Inter-club, West Fife District or Scottish National competitive level. 

If you would like to participate in a sport which is open to all ages and abilities and is both friendly and competitive, then why not have a go at bowling?  We have an annual Come & Try Day at the start of the outdoor season but prospective members are welcome to come along any time to try it out.  We are a friendly bunch and there will usually be someone to accompany you on the Green.

Whether you have never played before, are no longer able to participate in more energetic sports, or you are an existing bowler looking for a Club to join, then we would love to hear from you.  No previous experience is required and we have fully qualified coaches who can provide tuition if required.

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP (NON-BOWLING)

We also have a large Social Membership who only participate in our numerous social events on offer throughout the year.  There is a restriction on the number of Social Members allowed to join the club and they do not have access to the outdoor bowling green.

We are fortunate enough to have one of the largest greens in West Fife set within our beautifully maintained landscaped grounds.  Our clubhouse contains a well stocked bar and newly refurbished kitchen.  We have a separate building containing the ladies and gents locker/changing rooms.  We also have a small artificial green for little ones.
